This Refund Policy explains Credkeeper’s refund, cancellation, non-renewal, and renewal rules for paid Credkeeper subscriptions.
By purchasing a paid Credkeeper subscription, you agree to this Refund Policy, Credkeeper’s Terms of Service, and any checkout terms, order form, invoice, or written subscription agreement applicable to your purchase.
1. Seven-Day No-Questions-Asked Refund
Credkeeper offers a seven-day, no-questions-asked refund for initial paid subscription purchases.
To qualify, your refund request must satisfy all of the following requirements:
- The request must relate to your initial paid Credkeeper subscription purchase;
- The request must be made in writing;
- The request must be emailed to [email protected];
- The request must be received by Credkeeper before the refund deadline described below.
- The request must have a subject line of “7-Day Refund Request”; and
- The request must be made from the email address on file for the subscription and must clearly identify the person for whom the request is being made.
Credkeeper does not require you to provide a reason for an eligible refund request. However, Credkeeper may ask for information reasonably needed to locate your account, verify your purchase, prevent fraud, or process the refund.
2. Refund Deadline
Your written refund request must be received by Credkeeper at [email protected] within 168 hours of your initial paid subscription purchase.
Put another way: the refund deadline is the same time of day, seven calendar days later, measured in Arizona time unless a different time zone is stated at checkout.
For example, if your initial paid subscription purchase is completed at 2:00 p.m. Arizona time on March 1, Credkeeper must receive your written refund request at [email protected] by 2:00 p.m. Arizona time on March 8.
Refund requests received after the deadline are not eligible for a refund, except where required by applicable law.
3. Required Refund Request Method
Refund requests must be sent by email to:
Your email should include:
- your full name;
- the email address associated with your Credkeeper account;
- the subscription plan purchased;
- the purchase date;
- the invoice number or receipt number, if available; and
- a clear statement that you are requesting a refund.
Phone calls, voicemails, text messages, social media messages, chat messages, verbal statements, messages to sales representatives, or notices sent to any email address other than [email protected] do not qualify as refund requests unless Credkeeper expressly confirms otherwise in writing.
A refund request is considered received when it reaches Credkeeper at [email protected], not when it is sent by the user.
4. Initial Subscription Refunds Only
The seven-day refund policy applies only to an initial paid subscription purchase.
The seven-day refund period does not restart, renew, or apply again when:
- Your subscription renews;
- You continue into a new annual term;
- You fail to cancel or non-renew before renewal;
- You change plans;
- You resume service after a lapse;
- You purchase additional services, add-ons, credits, or upgrades, unless Credkeeper expressly states otherwise in writing.
5. Annual Subscription Terms
All paid Credkeeper subscriptions are annual subscriptions.
A paid Credkeeper subscription begins on the date of purchase and continues for an annual subscription term unless a different start date is stated in your checkout terms, invoice, order form, or written agreement.
Paid subscriptions renew annually unless canceled or non-renewed in accordance with this Refund Policy, Credkeeper’s Terms of Service, and any applicable checkout terms, order form, invoice, or written agreement.
6. No Refunds After the Seven-Day Refund Period
After the seven-day refund period expires, all subscription fees are final and non-refundable.
Credkeeper does not provide refunds, prorated refunds, credits, partial credits, account credits, or extensions for:
- unused time;
- non-use of the service;
- reduced use of the service;
- user error;
- failure to log in;
- failure to cancel;
- failure to review renewal terms;
- change of business circumstances;
- employment or firm changes;
- compliance department restrictions;
- dissatisfaction after the refund period;
- duplicate purchases not reported within the refund period;
- failure to use available features;
- failure to publish, approve, or use content;
- loss of access caused by nonpayment, chargeback, blocked payment, or breach of terms;
- any other reason after the refund period has expired.
This applies even if you stop using Credkeeper before the end of your annual subscription term.
7. Renewal Charges Are Non-Refundable
Renewal charges are final and non-refundable once processed.
If your annual subscription renews, you are responsible for the renewed annual subscription term. Credkeeper cannot refund, reverse, or credit a renewal charge simply because you forgot to cancel, missed the cancellation window, did not use the service, did not receive or read a reminder, changed your mind, changed firms, changed business needs, or no longer want the subscription.
The seven-day no-questions-asked refund policy does not apply to renewal terms.
8. Annual Cancellation and Non-Renewal Window
To avoid renewal, your written cancellation or non-renewal request must be received during your annual cancellation window.
Unless your checkout terms, order form, invoice, written agreement, or applicable law provides otherwise, the annual cancellation window is the final 30 calendar days of your then-current annual subscription term.
Your written non-renewal request must be received by Credkeeper at [email protected] during that 30-day window and before the renewal charge is processed.
If Credkeeper receives your cancellation or non-renewal request after the renewal charge has been processed, your subscription has already been renewed for the next annual term. In that case, the renewal charge is non-refundable, and your next standard opportunity to prevent renewal will be during the final 30 calendar days of the renewed annual subscription term.
9. Cancellation Is Not a Refund
Canceling or submitting a non-renewal request does not entitle you to a refund.
A valid cancellation or non-renewal request prevents a future renewal when submitted in accordance with this Refund Policy. It does not shorten the current annual subscription term, eliminate amounts already due, cancel unpaid installments, or create a right to a refund or credit for unused time.
10. Access After Cancellation or Refund
If Credkeeper approves a refund, Credkeeper may terminate or disable access to paid subscription features associated with the refunded purchase.
If you cancel or non-renew without receiving a refund, you may continue to have access to the applicable paid subscription features through the end of your then-current annual subscription term, unless your account is suspended or terminated for nonpayment, violation of Credkeeper’s terms, misuse, or another permitted reason.
11. Installments, Payment Plans, and Unpaid Amounts
If Credkeeper allows an annual subscription to be paid in installments, monthly payments, or another payment plan, the subscription remains an annual commitment unless Credkeeper expressly states otherwise in writing.
Canceling after the refund period does not eliminate unpaid amounts owed for the then-current annual subscription term. You remain responsible for all fees due for the annual term, including any remaining installment payments, unless Credkeeper agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.
12. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
A chargeback, payment dispute, blocked payment, revoked payment authorization, or failed payment does not cancel your subscription or create a refund right.
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, you must submit a written refund request to [email protected] within the seven-day refund period. Credkeeper may suspend or terminate access to the service for disputed, reversed, blocked, or failed payments, subject to Credkeeper’s Terms of Service and applicable law.
13. Processing Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The timing of a refund may depend on Credkeeper’s payment processor, your financial institution, card network, bank, or payment provider. Credkeeper is not responsible for processing delays caused by third parties.
14. Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable right you may have under applicable law.
If applicable law requires a refund, a cancellation right, a renewal notice, or a cancellation method that cannot be waived, Credkeeper will comply with that requirement.
15. Conflicts With Other Terms
This Refund Policy supplements Credkeeper’s Terms of Service, checkout terms, order forms, invoices, and written agreements.
If this Refund Policy conflicts with a signed written agreement between you and Credkeeper, the signed written agreement will control to the extent of the conflict, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
